St.Paul's Girls' School Prefects' 3-Day Leadership Camp...... St. Paul's Girls School Waragoda, a transformative journey took place recently as the school's prefects embarked on a three-day leadership camp at St.Vincent home, Maggona. Designed to nurture and enhance the leadership qualities of the young women, this camp was a significant step towards building a generation of effective leaders. Guided by the theme "How to be an Effective Leader," the camp was under the leadership of Rev.Father Randil OMI. From the outset, the camp aimed to instill a deep understanding of leadership, fostering skills that extend beyond the school years. Our Triumph in the English Drama Competition with "Snow White" ....... We are delighted to share the fantastic news that our school's Senior Drama Group has obtained the victory in the recent Zonal English Dialogue Drama Competition which was held on 4th August 2023.  The drama group category is the Myth & Legend category and won the 1st place from the competition they were selected for the Provincial Level by bringing fame to our school. Their outstanding performance showcased a perfect blend of talent, dedication, and teamwork. The group's hard work, meticulous preparation, captivating acting skills, and compelling storyline left the audience in awe. Celebrating Our Champion Dancing Troupes and Choirs.......... We are absolutely thrilled to show the exciting news that our school's Dancing troupes and Choirs were able to triumphed in the Carmel Inter School Competition. Congratulations to St.Paul's Girls' School's Dancing Troupes & Choirs for their participation and dedication to this victorious moment in The Carmel Inter School Competition which was held on 22nd July 2023. Our school's talented girls' performances and skills have truly made our school proud. The combination of great voices and impressive dance moves must have left an amazing impact on the judges and the audience. In the choir competition, the primary choir of our school have won the third place. The junior choir team secured the 3rd place and the senior team secured the 2nd place of the competition. Happy 88th Anniversary of St. Paul's Girls' School and A New Beginning................. In the year of 1935, Rev.Father Maurice Jin Legoc founded St.Paul's Girls' School on the site of St.Joseph's Research Farm in Kelaniya Waragoda. Since the inception of the school and as our school's patron is St.Paul the school day has been celebrated on 29th June every year.  It was a tradition to celebrate the school's anniversary and the feast of St. Paul every year. Since June 29 was a holiday this year, the school day ceremony was held on 30th of June.  As for the Chief Guest Rev.
