Educating Leaders: The Evolution of St. Paul's Balika Maha Vidyalaya

Various concerts and Shakespeare plays presented by the school from time to time under the skillful direction of Reverend Father Cabral were very successful. At this stage, after the untimely death of Mr. Legok, the administration of the school was handed over to His Excellency Peter Pillay, who was the head of St. Joseph's College at that time. After many years of hard service with full commitment, Ms. Pearl Gunawardena retired and Sister Mary Joseph became the principal. To support her, the two sisters Vinashensshi and Jogvangeline joined the teaching staff.

St. Paul's Girls' School Kelaniya also places great emphasis on extracurricular activities, including sports, music, drama, and art. The school has a reputation for producing some of the best athletes, musicians, and artists in the country. Students are encouraged to participate in these activities to develop their skills and interests outside the classroom.

The school's faculty consists of highly qualified teachers who are passionate about their subjects and are committed to helping students achieve their academic goals. The teachers at St. Paul's Girls' School Kelaniya strive to create a supportive learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and academic excellence.

In addition to all these factors, St.Paul's Girls School is currently in a very high position and is currently walking under the leadership of Rev. Maria Riana Similarly, she is also committed to providing a perfect education under a spiritual background.

In our school's music sector, we are embarking on a transformative journey as we welcome our new Western band leader and  Eastern band leader thrillingly, thanking our former band leaders. සුබෝදානි.........  The Sinhala and Tamil New Year or else Aluth Avurudda in Sinhala and Puthandu in Tamil is a traditional festival celebrated by the Sinhala and Tamil communities in Sri Lanka. The festival usually falls on April 13th which is known to be the conclusion of the old year and 14th which is known to be the beginning of a new year. The Sinhala and Tamil New Year is a highly anticipated cultural festival in Sri Lanka. On April 29th, 2023, St. Paul's B.M.V celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year with its students & teachers. It was a memorable and festive occasion which filled with happiness and excitement.
