 Embark on a Day of Delight at Our School Fair!


The echoes of laughter, the vibrant colors, and the scent of delicious treats still linger in the air as we look back at that incredible day of the Pauline Fair! Our school premises transformed into a wonderland of joy, and we couldn't be more thrilled about the memories created on that unforgettable day. True intention behind this vast Paulie Fair 2023 is to renovate the primary building of the school and for the other maintainance. This initiative undertaken by the school authority, aimed at enhancing the teaching and learning process. In our continuous efforts to provide an enriching the teaching and learning process. In our continuous efforts to provide an enriching educational experience, we are implementing this specific event to foster a more dynamic and effective learning environment. This initiative is designed to support and develop various aspects of the teaching and learning process, ultimately benefiting both students and teachers. We believe that we can further empower our educators with innovative tools and resources, so that they will lead our Pualine students to an elevated standard of education.

We welcomed Rev. Fr. Shenal Frank, The assistant Parish priest of Kelaniya & Rev. Sr. Mary Priyani, The superior of Carmel convent of Waragoda and also we warmly welcomed Rev. Sr. Maria Riyana- The Principal of St. Paul's Girls' School, Kelaniya. Rev. Sr. Maria Erandi, The sectional head of A/L section & all the other Rev. Sisters. Mr. George Perera, Former member of Provincial Council, Western Province as our distinguished guest. Mr. Saman Rathnayaka, Our well wisher. Mrs. Kamali Maduragoda, Deputy principal of administration. Mrs. Aloma Berenger, Deputy principal of education development. Mrs. Aruni Hewavitharana, Assistant deputy principal. Mrs. Dienna De Bond, President of the past pupils Association. Mrs. Christine Perumal, An active member of the past pupils association & all the other members of past pupils association. Mr. Nimantha Priyasanjana, A member of the school development society. And all the other honourable guests, well wishers, dear teachers, parents, past pupils and students. With all these supporters are encouraging, we could make it a successful event.

After the formal introduction has done by our announcers, The National flag, Roman Catholic flag and School flag were hoisted by A Former member of Provincial council, Western Province Mr. George Perera, Rev. Sr. Mary Priyani, The Superior of Carmel convent, Waragoda and Rev. Sr. Maria Riyana, The Principal of our Alma Mater. As always the Paulines do not forget to praise the Almighty God. So, the opening prayer was performed by Rev. Sr. Maria Erandi. The traditional oil lamp was enlightened by our guests. After that Rev. Sr. Riyana, The Principal of St. Paul's Girls' School spoke to the presented audience and explained our goals as a school furthermore.

On that day, our school premises was filled with various types of stalls & shops. Having many types of things such as various kind of foods, mehendi, face painting, clothing,footwear, pet fish, photobooth, karaoke, fun games & sports, DJ and etc. The schoolyard turned into an exciting fiesta with the over flowing happiness.

It became more eventful with the arrival of Ms. Anjalee Herath, who won the Final title of Derana Dream Star, Season 11. She entertained the crowd with her incredible voice and stage presence. From the moment she stepped onto the stage, a wave of energy and excitement swept through the audience. Our school is grateful for the unforgettable experience. Phones and cameras were out in full force as everyone aimed to capture the magic of the day. Students and parents shared their favorite moments through social media. The memories will live on not just in our hearts but in the shared photographs & videos. 

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Principal of our school, Rev. Sr. Maria Riyana for her guidance to conduct this event in such a high standard. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to the teachers of our school, specially including Rev. Sr. Maria Erandi. For their great help in this event. We offer our heartfelt tributes to the students and their parents of our school. A massive shoutout to our incredible team of organizers, volunteers, and sponsors who worked tirelessly to make the Fair a resounding success. It was a collective effort that brought the school community together for a day of pure joy.

Together, we created memories that will linger in our hearts, and the success of the Fair exemplifies the strength of our school community. Thank you for making it an extraordinary day of fun, unity, and cherished moments. We assure the Pauline will continue to strive through as we are discovering these new chapters. Thank You!
