Exchanging Band Duties to New Leaders

Introducing the next generation of Band Leaders....

Music has a magical way of bringing people together, transcending cultural boundaries, and creating harmonious melodies. In our school's music sector, we are embarking on a transformative journey as we welcome our new Western band leader and  Eastern band leader thrillingly, thanking our former band leaders. Let us explore how the handover of duties to these exceptional leaders will shape our school's musical landscape.

The ceremony of handing over the duties was held in front of the school community, under the guidance of Rev.Sr. Principal and dear teachers. It was a heartwarming event. Our former Western band leader, Ms. Rochelle Anthony, and former Eastern band leader Ms. Lasha Pilapitiya spoke a few words about their experiences of being the leaders for four consecutive years. They thanked to all the elders and colleagues who helped them to accomplished their duties. Also, our newly appointed Ms. Dinethmi Tharumila, the leader of  Western band, and Ms. Sajana Rebecca, the leader of Eastern band did their part of their roles to show gratitude and promised to lead their bands as humble and good leaders. Our principal Rev. Sr. Riana did the concluding speech with her heartfelt appreciation and encouragement to our former and present leaders, and also to all the members of the band for their hard work, dedication and passion for music.
